Anne Davis

Anne is excited to bring movement into the lives of others. With an athletic background, Anne has always loved to push herself and others further than we think we can go. “You are stronger than you think you are” is a mantra that resonates.
 
Anne is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and a certified Rasamaya Barre instructor.

As a runner, movement lover, outdoor enthusiast, and mom of three, Anne feels fortunate to be a part of your lives at Magnolia.

  • Barre Express
  • Squeeze in a Barre Express workout! We've made this class a few minutes shorter to fit into your busy schedule, but you'll still walk out of the studio satisfied by this fun, and challenging whole body workout.
     
    Magnolia Barre is an athletic workout specifically designed to strengthen and lengthen the body. The class is fueled by upbeat music and efficiently flows through each muscle group, creating endurance and stamina through strength training and increased flexibility through stretching. The movements are influenced by classical ballet barre methods, Pilates, yoga, and orthopedic exercises. The class is taught in a group setting, but offers personalized attention through verbal and hands-on corrections.

    Socks are required for class, they may be purchased at the studio for $12 or rented for $1. Pre-registration for class is recommended to ensure a spot, but walk-ins are welcome.

  • Barre for Every Body
  • Every body and any body can benefit from barre’s strengthening movements. You don’t need to be flexible, young, or athletic to benefit. This class series will take you through the foundations of barre: posture, movement, and alignment - as we build upon each week’s learning.

    This class series is specifically designed for anyone who feels limited in their mobility. This safe, fun, and body positive class is for students of all ages, shapes, injury status, and ability levels.

    No prior experience required.


  • HIIT Barre
  • Get in and get it done with HIIT barre!

    This 45 minute athletic workout is all about power and cardiovascular endurance. You will work multiple rounds of exercises to work your whole body, followed by a focused toning segment (abs, legs or glutes) and then a cool down and stretch.  

    HIIT barre combines your favorite Magnolia Barre exercises with High Intensity Interval Training to incorporate bursts of cardiovascular exercises and brief rest periods to increase your heart rate, torch calories and shape long, lean muscles.
