Belly up to the Barre

Liz Pfeffer Gagnon

 Liz is a firm believer that movement matters, and the way we move shapes the way we live. As a movement educator Liz will teach you how to access your body's true potential. Liz is know for her precise, anatomically focused cues and guidance. Join her for a challenging, fun and motivational class. 

Liz is originally from just outside of Boulder, Colorado where she grew up, worked as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, and attended the University of Colorado. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology and Italian. She trained in the Rasamaya Barre method and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Rasamaya founder Carrie Tyler. She is also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

Sandy Betz

Sandy’s fitness journey began just a few years ago when she discovered Pilates and then barre classes. Within these methods she found her body and discovered its capacity for strength and grace.

Through barre and Pilates she saw and felt her body change, muscles developing, and flexibility increasing. She started to experience a level of fitness that translated into everyday activities.

Sandy’s classes are a place where everyone, from experienced athletes to absolute beginners; will experience challenge, support and most importantly lots of laughter.

She has extensive training in Barre and Pilates and is currently pursuing her NASM Personal Training certification. She is passionate about sharing her love of fitness and, in particular, the transformative properties of barre classes with clients of all ages and fitness levels.

Anne Davis

Anne is excited to bring movement into the lives of others. With an athletic background, Anne has always loved to push herself and others further than we think we can go. “You are stronger than you think you are” is a mantra that resonates.
Anne is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and a certified Rasamaya Barre instructor.

As a runner, movement lover, outdoor enthusiast, and mom of three, Anne feels fortunate to be a part of your lives at Magnolia. 

Start your Saturday night off right with barre burn and beverages.  Join us for 45 minutes of barre express followed by wine and beer happy hour and community building.  

RASAMAYA® BARRE is an athletic workout specifically designed to strengthen and lengthen the body. The class is fueled by upbeat music and efficiently flows through each muscle group, creating endurance and stamina through strength training and increased flexibility through stretching. The movements are influenced by classical ballet barre methods, Pilates, yoga, and orthopedic exercises. The class is taught in a group setting, but offers personalized attention through verbal and hands-on corrections.

Socks are required for class, they may be purchased at the studio for $12 or rented for $1.  Pre-registration for class is recommended to ensure a spot; this class will fill!!
