Liz is originally from just outside of Boulder, Colorado where she grew up, worked as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, and attended the University of Colorado. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology and Italian. She trained in the Rasamaya Barre method and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Rasamaya founder Carrie Tyler. She is also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
Outside of the studio Liz is a student nurse, and enjoys creating wacky terrariums, running around on the beach, hiking, breathing, and being. She is also the mother of a 4 year old son, who is her greatest teacher.
HIIT Barre - this 30 minute athletic workout is all about power and cardiovascular endurance. It utilizes the trademarked Rasamaya HIIT rule of threes (3 exercises, 3 sets, 30 seconds) and combines it with the lengthening and strengthening aspects of the Rasamaya barre classes you already love.
30 minutes is plenty of time for this vigorous and efficient workout.
The HIIT Barre classes are challenging and are appropriate for those looking for an intense workout. If you have any cardiovascular issues please speak with us and get clearance from your doctor prior to attending. Heart rate monitors are strongly recommended.
